Telltale Games unveils casting and character details for its upcoming Batman game

Apart from offering a first look at its The Walking Dead game, Telltale Games has also released story and casting details for its upcoming Batman game. The company announced Batman - The Telltale Series last year when it stated that the game would allow players to live and experience the life of Bruce Wayne, both as Gotham's billionaire and as the city's costumed vigilante.

Telltale Games has now shed more light on its upcoming title, stating that the game will feature five episodes in the same choose-your-own-adventure gameplay style, and will be available on consoles, PCs, and smartphones. Kevin Bruner, CEO of Telltale Games had the following to say:

We've been hard at work at Telltale creating an all-new iteration of the iconic Batman story that puts players in the suit of billionaire Bruce Wayne, just as much as it will put them behind the mask, deciding how to carefully navigate a complex drama, rich with action, crime, corruption, and villainy lurking around every corner of Gotham City. The complex life and fractured psyche of Bruce Wayne has lent itself to becoming a bold evolution of the signature 'Telltale' role-playing experience, and we couldn't be more excited as we prepare to debut the series to players across the world this summer.

Batman - The Telltale Series also features a star-studded voice-acting cast, which include Troy Baker in the role of Bruce Wayne, Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent, Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth, Murphy Guyer as James Gordon, Richard McGonagal as Carmine Falcone, and Laura Bailey as Seline Kyle. The aforementioned voice actors have performed in various games, movies and TV shows including Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, BioShock Infinite, Gears of War 4, The Devil's Advocate and more.

Batman - The Telltale Series will premier this summer on consoles, PC, and smartphones.
